Australia has generally enjoyed a good economic prosperity over the years. The country has attracted millions of tourist, foreign students and immigrates from all over the world.

The economy was traditionally modeled round commodity production. As the effects of globalization swept the major world economies which made Australia adapt to the changes and take on a more knowledge-oriented economy. It is evident that the knowledge based economy is moving at a very fast pace. One thing that I like about the Australian universities and colleges is the fact that they have maintained high standard over the years. They have not just focused on mass but on quality.
